So the etymology of lotuseater extends to ancient Greek mythology; Lotophagi lierally means lotus eater and one of their characteristic is to sleep in peaceful apathy, oblivious to whats going around them.
People around me has as well gave me a feeling that I am also from the species of lotuseaters. I am tired of bringing home to them that it is not so. Just because I do not behave loud/ assertively/ violently doesn't mean I am unaffected by situations around me. Have you guys also faced this type of situation?
